A primary open space, the Green Walk, becomes the heart of the District and extends east-west from Hong Gu 3RD road to Hong Gu 5th road. Smaller scale open spaces are proposed throughout the District. The street framework is characterized by an intersecting grid which maximizes access and movement options, allows for greater distribution of vehicular traffic, and promotes a comfortable pedestrian and bicycle access.
