8、of political and security,economic and financial,and cultural and people-to-people exchanges,playing an important role in promoting global peace,development,prosperity,and stability,and has become a model for new multilateral cooperation that is open and inclusive and brings win-win results.In order

9、 to better understand the global perception of the effectiveness of BRICS cooperation and its contribution to global development,the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies(ACCWS),in collaboration with Beijing Dataway Technology Co.,conducted a thematic survey from May to October 2022,coveri

10、ng Asia(China,India,Indonesia,Saudi Arabia,Thailand,Malaysia,Kazakhstan,Pakistan,and Singapore),Europe(UK,France,Germany,Russia,Greece,Hungary,and Serbia),the Americas(USA,Mexico,Brazil,and Argentina),Africa(Egypt,South Africa,Nigeria,and Kenya)and Oceania(New Zealand)1.The survey targeted people ag

11、ed 18 years and above with a college or higher degree.A total of 10,500 valid samples were collected,with 420 from each country.With samples from 25 countries around the world,the survey provides a comprehensive picture of peoples perceptions and expectations of BRICS cooperation in global developme

12、nt from the perspectives of conceptual understanding,potential benefits,global contributions and future outlook.The survey used an online questionnaire,collecting data through the Dataway global sample database and the ESOMAR global partnership network,in strict compliance with international standar
